Despite its efforts year after year to style itself as a leader in providing life-giving health care, Planned Parenthood Federation of America is in actuality a leader in promoting a culture of death.
Planned Parenthood Federation of America is the primary supplier of abortions in the United States, and its abortion activities are at an all-time high. Meanwhile, actual health services (such as cancer screenings, breast exams, and prenatal services) continued to decrease.
Planned Parenthood performed a record 402,230 abortions1 in 2022-23 – an increase of over 9,500 (2%) from the previous year, and an increase of 23%2 since 2013. The number of patients increased by just 1% from the previous year and was down by 23% from 2013. In 2022-23, 96.9% of the time, women seeking help related to their pregnancy at Planned Parenthood were sold an abortion rather than given prenatal care, provided care for a miscarriage, or helped to make an adoption plan. Prenatal services, miscarriage care, and adoption referrals accounted for only 1.7% (7,008), 0.9% (3,598), and 0.5% (2,148), respectively. For every adoption referral in 2022-23, Planned Parenthood performed 187 abortions. According to data from Planned Parenthood’s own annual reports, since 2013:
- Total services are down more than 10%.
- With changing practice guidelines, total cancer screening and prevention services have dropped by 54%, including declines of 61% for breast exams and 54% for pap tests.
- Prenatal services are down 63%.
- Contraceptive services are down 38%.
From its inception, Planned Parenthood has attempted to reduce the birth rates of minorities. In 1939, founder Margaret Sanger launched the Negro Project, a racist birth control scheme intended to limit the growth of the Black population. Planned Parenthood continues a pattern of eugenic abortion that kills the offspring of certain races or ethnicities.
Planned Parenthood’s CEOs and its New York headquarters employees continue to see substantial increases in their salaries with their exorbitant incomes funded by abortion, and (until 2026) by taxpaying Americans.
