Contents include a study of Bible verses and short comments. The sections are about the child in the womb, stillborn, Pass through the fire, shedding of innocent blood, ripping open the womb, the child, did Jesus really say abortion was wrong.
Then compilation of a few timelines of prenatal development from conception to birth. As science gains more understanding, this will become obsolete, but still relevant.
I don’t pretend to think that I’ve found every verse. I was certainly surprised at how many I did find. Thanks goes to my brother Garry for his help. This would be a good place to give thanks to Jesus Christ. After weeks of compiling verses, I was drained and needed a break. I closed the book on this project. About 3 weeks later I woke up at 4:00am and sat up. Me and 4:00 don’t get along, so while I was trying to reconnect with my pillow I heard the inaudible voice saying, “What God has put together, let no man put asunder.” I was puzzled that I was getting a download on the familiar marriage verse.
As I thought about it, it became clear that God was taking this principle from marriage to conception. He was saying, that in the same way that marriage is consummated, the egg and sperm is consummated. The 2 become 1 flesh, and no one has the right to tear that child apart. I’m 65 and I’ve heard a lot of sermons, but I’ve never heard that one. Why didn’t God tell some preacher that one. I don’t know. Maybe He did. I think God gets more glory when revelation comes to someone that you wouldn’t expect it from. That would be me. Not a preacher. He also knew that I would never find this connection on my own.
I hope this encourages Pro-Lifers and convinces open-minded readers that the Bible is clearly PRO-LIFE.
