Sherrod Brown is 100% Pro-Abortion & Pro-Death

Sherrod Brown
is one of only two Ohio congressmen with a
100% pro-abortion voting record.

  • He has voted for taxpayer dollars to be used for abortion-causing drugs.

  • He has voted for abortions on military bases.

  • He has voted for federal employees health insurance to pay for abortions.

  • He has voted to give taxpayer dollars to fund abortions overseas.

  • He has even voted several times to allow partial-birth abortions.

Sherrod Brown also voted against the Unborn Victims of Violence Act.
This bill recognizes both mother and child as victims when a violent crime is committed against an expectant mother (as in the case of Laci Peterson and her preborn son, Connor). It makes sense to most of us that committing a violent crime against a mother AND her preborn child involves two victims! But to Congressman Brown, and other pro-abortionists, any recognition of the humanity of unborn children is a problem.

Sherrod Brown voted to allow human beings to be cloned so the resulting humans could be killed and used for medical research. He calls it “therapeutic cloning.” But how is it therapeutic to create a human life and then destroy it? This cheapening of human life is, unfortunately, part-and-parcel of what Sherrod Brown has stood for.

Recently, Sherrod Brown voted to give US taxpayer monies to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). However, the UNFPA has been denied funding because of their involvement in the forced abortion program that is part of China’s one-child-per-family policy. It is unfortunate that as a US Congressman, Sherrod Brown continues to deny the right to life to preborn children. His extremism on abortion is evident.

Please pray that Sherrod Brown will learn to respect and protect all human life from conception to natural death.

Bush Administration cuts off funding for coerced abortions through the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)

On July 15, 2003, the US House of Representatives voted 216-211 to adopt the Smith-Oberstar-Hyde Amendment to prevent the weakening of the Kemp-Kasten Anti-Coercion Law, an 18-year-old law that prohibits US funding of any organization that "supports or participates in the management of a program of coercive abortion or involuntary sterilization."

Under this pro-life law, the Bush Administration has cut off funding to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) because of that agency's extensive involvement in China's population control program, which relies heavily on coerced abortions...

The bill also requires any physician who provides RU-486 to report any serious complications to the state medical board.

Those State Representatives voting FOR H.B. 126 (pro-life position) were.....
